We had bought one of Iain’s rings for our engagement, and really wanted wedding rings that would match its style. We contacted Iain and he came back with several suggestions – not being ring designers ourselves this could have been quite a daunting process, but Iain guided us through it, and the final result was even better than we expected, absolutely perfect!

The Wedding rings were an important part of our day, after all we would be wearing them for the rest of our lives – they had to be absolutely perfect. We visited several jewellers, none of whom could do exactly what we wanted, we thought we would have to settle with rings that we liked rather than loved.

We met Ian at a Wedding Fayre at the Coniston Hotel, our venue for the Wedding. Ian’s ‘can do’ attitude was exactly what we were looking for, we explained how we wanted the rings and were told that’s what we would get. We were guided through the process, were never rushed, and were kept informed of the progress. It was a really personal service and all staff involved were brilliant.

The rings are absolutely fantastic, exactly as we imagined (and very different to anything we have ever seen!). Thank you so very much for all your help.

My partner and I saw Iain from Iain Henderson Designs at a wedding fayre in Leeds. We chatted about the style of wedding rings we wanted. Whilst I knew what I wanted, my partner Paul had no idea. There was no pressure from Iain and we left with his card and continued round the other stalls.

What stood out about Iain Henderson Designs for us compared to other jewellers was that Iain was very down to earth, listened to what we wanted and had designs we would not have seen on the high street. He has a studio at his home where we went to see some styles and get ideas. The whole experience from start to finish was excellent. We are delighted with our rings and they are so different to anyone we know. We will definitley go back if we need a ring in the future

I have always admired IHD’s work as many of my friends are loyal fellow devotees.

When my now Husband surprised me with THE most stunning and original engagement ring I was overjoyed. Iain and his team listened to my Husband’s ideas, understood exactly what he wanted and the result is my dream ring.

Iain did such a great job that we comissioned him to design and make our wedding bands and gifts for all our wedding party.

Thank you Iain, Karl and Lindsay from the bottom of my heart, for helping me to fulfil a long term dream and to further a family tradition, for not assuming a request for coal jewellery to be some sort of wind up, for being so patient in the design and make process (probably a lot more patient than even I realise) and for the speed and efficiency with which the project was carried out. It’s a superb piece, feels fabulous to wear and most of all it has created a permanent bond between the family and our steam railway interest. It will be worn many times with immense pride, and won’t ever be just a silver and coal necklace, it holds a massive amount of sentimental value too. Amazing – thank you so much.
